hanseatic craftsmanship meets nordic design
Welcome to my online shop! Since October 2025, I have been making hand-poured, 100% natural candles in Hamburg-Winterhude – minimalist in design, Danish-inspired in name. The Z stands for my surname Zwiebeling – and for my father's artisanal legacy, which I continue today in his memory.
I pour each candle from 100% natural wax. Irregular melting is part of its natural texture and emphasizes that each candle is primarily a special decorative object.
In my workshops near the Alster, you can create your own scent and color combinations. Enjoy browsing – and feel free to contact me with any questions.

A Fylda candle set for a housewarming, the Faverig rainbow for a christening, the designer Knøt knot for the interior design lover, or the large Bøluna wave candle for a birthday: With a Studio Z gift voucher, you're not just giving a product, but a lasting gesture. It can be redeemed for all products in the shop as well as workshops. For all those who recognize beauty in detail – and share the joy of it.
Plastic-free
Because hand-poured candles made from plant-based rapeseed wax deserve packaging that lives up to this standard, I avoid plastic wherever possible. Some details can't yet be completely plastic-free, but my goal remains. Instead, I use recyclable materials such as natural cardboard, honeycomb paper, and cotton ribbon. For a meaningful tomorrow.
