Classic Craft: Design and Scented Candle Workshop

Studio Z is, since October 2025, the first studio in Germany to offer shaped candle workshops, so you are booking the unique original of shaped candle workshops.

In my workshop, you will learn the basics of candle making and create your own unique candle, either as a designer-shaped or container candle made from 100% natural wax.

This is included:

• 1.5 hours of creative work
• One self-poured candle as a designer shape or container candle with a cotton or crackling wooden wick (additional candles can be poured on-site)
  
• Personal 1:1 instruction & expertise in candle craftsmanship
• All materials & tools
• Selection from selected shaped candle models
• Selection from a curated Studio Z fragrance collection & subtle colors
• Stylish, cozy studio atmosphere in Hamburg-Winterhude (only 200m from Mühlenkamp)

Collection:

• Pick-Up Appointment: Every Saturday 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM (your candles will then be dried, unmoulded and finished by me)
• Alternatively: Shipping for a fee (insured, incl. tracking, €10)

Age recommendation:

• For children from approx. 8 years accompanied, from 14 years with written parental consent also unaccompanied.

Booking:

• This workshop is bindingly bookable. Cancellations or refunds are not automatically possible and will only be made after individual review and agreement via email.
• The course fee includes one candle of your choice from a provided selection of special workshop molds. You can pour as many candles as you like and can manage within a maximum of 2 hours, which you can pay for on site.

Note:

• Shaped candles made from 100% natural wax are – unlike container candles – primarily decorative objects due to their material. Slight irregularities and uneven melting behavior are completely natural. If you still wish to light your shaped candle, please place it on a suitable base to catch any wax that may drip.
